Hi Bron,
We thought you had all got lost in the rain forest! Does the bandicoot have a tail? It looks like our Rattus rattus!
Now that looks like a little frog and usually they are poisonoue!
Continue having fun, particularly at night. Sorry to hear about the rain, it has improved here.
Love Grandad

Oooo not sure I like the bandicoot, I am sure Ook would love it!!
Glad to hear you are still swimming even though it is raining – make the most of it, I bet it is warmer than Hill Head.
We went to Ipswich at the weekend to see Aunty Mary and everyone, they all send their love and are dead jelous of all the FAB things you are seeing
Hopefully the sun will come out there soon. It is sunny here I am hoping to get Dad out in the garden again next weekend!!

Hi Bronte
Wow! I can’t believe you have seen so many amazing creatures. Henry is really missing out he would have loved those frogs!! Did you get a chance to touch them?
Henry has his last day at Primary school today, Alf making us laugh with all the silly things he says and Louis is now sitting up and really giggling!!
I expect today would have been your last day at school for year 5 too!
Send my love to everyone.
Take care and have fun

Hiya Bronte
My goodness, I think my ‘pacemaker’ would have exploded if I’d seen one of those Bandicoots coming towards me! I thought I’d be o.k. with the frog you saw – until your Granddad said they are poisonus (think I’ll give them a miss as well!) We’ve had a fox in our garden for a while, during the day as well as at night. A week ago I heard a terrible noise and when I looked out the window he was sitting on the lawn barking at Monty and Monty was hissing at him. I ran outside waving a teatowel to frighten him away. The next day Monty came in with a nasty bit on his back at the base of his tail – poor thing. He’s had loads of injections at the vets because it turned into an abcess but it’s o.k. now. Not seen the fox since (thank goodness). Good job it was in England and not abroad, at least we don’t have rabies here! Have a lovely time, Love to Jack as well
Hi Guys
How are you doing? Hope the weather is a bit better for you now. It is boiling here!! Thank goodness it’s Friday and I don’t have to work.
Boys went off to the US of A yesterday, they were very excited. I spoke to them last night and they were just going off for a swim – It was over 100 decrees there!!
Dad and I are off to see Shakespere tonight outside- a very English experience. We will take our picnic and champers and hopefully have a lovely evening. Then tomorrow I will get him in the garden again (fingers crossed). He is really looking forward to it!!!! NOT.
Buffy is laid here on the dining room table stretched out while I am writing(I am about to push her off cos it’s naughty) Oscar and Belle are laying out in the garden and OOk os off somewhere probably catchimg mice or something?
Everyone missing you….. It’s going to be VERY quiet for the next six weeks.
Look forward to your next update
Lots of Love

Bronte,
are you sre it’s not called a Bandi-cute?? It’s like a giant vole that eats at all the best restaurants…
and I thought the second photo was going to be a frog…not YOU looking for a frog!!…oh, it is a frog!! Whoops…
Jack – we got your school report yesterday – well done – it was really good…I bought you a huge bar of chocolate to celebrate…but it looked so nice, Jacquie and I ate it…it was lovely!!! Thanks!!
Ed and Harry went to America on Thursday, so it is very quiet here, although the cats don’t know what’s going on…Belle is walking round with Bronte’s picture in her cat-wallet, and she keeps on looking for you in your bedroom, Oscar has taken over Jack’s bed, and I am sure he secretly wears his pyjamas when no-one is around!! Ook has lost loads of weight – either the lady across the road has finally stopped feeding him, or Buffy has been sucking it out of him with a straw – she’s got bigger!
We went to see Shakespeare’s ’12th Night’ last night, outside at the 17th Century Village in Gosport. It was really funny, in a lovely setting in a clearing surrounded by old houses…and thousands of mosquitoes…but not just any mosquitoes – GIANT mosquitoes…well, they sounded like giant mosquitoes, in the dark…it was like the dambusters doing a fly-by every time they went past your ears. I’m sure they were giant, winged, humming Bandi-cutes…
I might be putting up a gate and fence at the side of the house today (see how exciting it is here!), though you know me and DIY – not sure I should use wood…the fence I built last time wasn’t great…maybe I will just knit one!!
Glad you’re having a great time, although the rain sounds a bit of a pain. Missing you loads – keep the photos coming when you can, and I will hopefully talk to you soon.
lots of love, Dad…xxxx xxxx xxxx
Hi,all, This is the Scottish Grandparents, Sorry that the weather has been a bit of a washout, although it obviously hasn’t detracted from the amazing sights you have encountered. I think Jack, that I {Gran} would feel a bit claustraphobic in that swag. Give me a comfy bed any day. Glad that you are all having a good time. Loved the loo on legs.
Lots of love xxx
Hi Bron
I’m writing from France hhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrraaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m on holiday at last.
We have been here 5 days including going to Futuroscope.
I dont know if u have heard about it?
It’s this big French park like thorpe park but with less scary rides infact there is no rides there just simulators!
and there really, really fun! Also we went on the dancing robots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was a ride and it was my favourite thing out of the whole park. Hannah b. dared me to do that ride because Georgina went to Futuroscope on a school trip! So I have a picture as proof! Anyway I agree with u aout the bandicoot being cute!!! and I like the picture of u Jack and Robby by the waterfall and the picture of u Jack and Robby trying to make fire! (and your face painting looked cool!).
Have to go know but I will speak to u soon!
