Loo With A View

Loo with a view I may have mentioned earlier that Aussie Auntie Jan lent me a toilet seat on legs. It came in handy in Cape Palmeston National Park where we had a fantasic night on a secluded beach. It was us and a couple of kilometres of sandy beach. See attached pictures. Robbie and Jack made a great fire using Jack’s techniques learnt at scouts. In the morning we shampooed up and had a lovely bath in the ocean.

    This picture really made me laugh!! Glad you are having an eventful time. Looks so much fun (apart from the toilet of course).
    All is well here in sunny Fareham, Louis is now sitting up alone, bless his cottons!! I am not back to work now until Sept which is great news!
    We tried out the trailer tent last weekend we had a really good time, think I may have converted Gary to a camper now.

    What was the title? I was glad to read that Jack’s scout experiences have served you well out in the bush! What did you BBQ was it anything unusual. Something perhaps you had killed with your bushman bow and arrow, or could it have been a boomerang!

    I must say I am a little concerned about the polution being caused by you Brits on the Australian landscape – what with the magic toilet and the lathering washes and I hope you cleared up after the BBQ! Think of the sharks which have very senstitive aroma receptors in their snouts!

    Lovely picture! English tourist stranded on the beach in Cape Palmerston Natinal Park. When questioned by her rescuers she said “In England we often read a book whilst sat on the loo, it relaxes the sphicter muscles”

    Must go it is past my bedtime!
